This custom tattoo design was created for a client who loves The Last of Us and was drawn to Ellie’s iconic tattoo, but wanted a more refined, minimalist interpretation. The goal was to strip the design back to its essential elements, maintaining the symbolism and emotional weight of the original while removing visual noise and complexity.
In addition to serving as a tattoo, the design was also created into a print. Framed and displayed in the client’s home, it functions as both personal expression and decorative object, being both body art and interior art.
